Recovering in Mexico

 So I got in a day early and they did my surgery when I got here!  It's now been about 36 hours fromw surgery and I am finally feeling well enough to post. 
The pain meds were making me nauseous so. Had them switch mine. Madeline is in the room next to me and it seems like she and I are having the similar recovery issues. The gas is VERY painful but coming along. 
Sorry this is so short will post a longer one later but typing on an iPad is not the most ideal!

Wishing you well and a speedy recovery.  The first 24 hours were the worst for me and it has gotten better with each passing day. 

congrats and welcome to the losers bench walk walk walk to help with the gas.to this day it still helps me get it out.lol take it easy and dont over do it.congrats again to the both of you

Yay so happy you are on the mend. You'll feel soooo much better once you get that annoying drain out , if you are anything like me. The nights in the hotel were so much better in terms of sleep and feeling better. Every day gets better and better!!!

Congratulations both!!!  hang in there it will get better!  I hope you all took a heating pad, my sleeve sister said it helped her a lot with her gas pain (I did not have gas pain but my back hurt and I used it a lot too).  Walk, walk, walk, even if short distances and rest.  Welcome to the loosers bench!

Thanks for the well wishes too..justmest and I are at the hotel now and I for one think its gorgeous. I just had some broth and an orange popsicle (not all of it of course) and that was delicious! Being here will do alot for the mental part of this recovery and my husband is excited about having a real bed..Im sure Justmest's companion is too!
