Meeting at the Vic today

So I had my pre op meeting at the Vic this morning.  All went well.  Met the Anesth.....( guy who puts you to sleep, can't spell it )  and with a nurse.  At the end she was telling me about calling the on call DR. if I have problems and not to worry about bothering them, that's why they are on call etc.  Then she said to also call the NUT if I have any dietary questions.  So I mentioned that she is really hard to get ahold of and that we were not supplied any contatct info for her other than going through Andrea and she was shocked.  Her suggestion was start calling the on call Dr. with nutrition quesions and they will soon provide her number.....I took it to be a bit tongue in cheek but not completely.  She said she thinks that once the clinic at the Vic is fully running it will be easier to get to a nutritionist with our questions.

Getting really close now.  Got my cute little bracelet and gave more blood, got my info now I just wait till Tuesday!

Please know that we are all with you in spirit on Tuesday and saying prayers for a quick, safe recovery.   The girls will all shove over one to make room  on the loser's bench (and they can cuz they don't take up as much space anymore! haha)

Thanks everyone!  I am ready.  Feeling very calm today and glad to be just about done with the opti fast and moving on.  I will post again when I can....from the Loser's Bench!
