OMG...this sounds horrible.  I am not understanding what happend though, is it just low iron that caused all of this?  What happened that you required emergency surgery?  Sorry to pry but I am one week away from my surgery and prone to excessive worrying right now.  I hope you get home soon and get better.

hi ,
this is the full story condensed.had RNY may 26,2011 had uterin ablasion with merina inserted  july 2011,had period since july.november deveopled low iron (common with wls)tried to figure it out.decided to have hystorcectomy(sp),on iron 3x daily had hyst on april 20.saw dr april 29th everything ok,saw dr again on monday april 30th started to bleed.she said was normal for like 2 weeks after.ok went home.went to m&G wednesday ok,thursday night work up with blood running down legs and thats were we start with this post.
the dr figures i developed a bleeder internally but once they gave me the platelets it clotted and she could not find anything.sooooo she stitched everything extra to make sure it would not open up sooner than expected.
as far as im concerned this had nothing to do with my RNY but we do talk about alot of different things on here.im sorry if i scared anyone pre-op i just wanted to talk to someone who kinda understands me a little bit.

Thanks for posting.  It's comforting to me to know it's not a wls related issue  but I am so sorry to hear what you have been going through.  I hope the worst is behind you now and you have a speedy recovery!
