Any Manitoba DSers?

Hey All,

I'm doing some research and I'm wondering if someone from Manitoba can tell me what the process is to be approved for and arrange surgery for the DS? Did you go to the US or elsewhere in Canada? Did the provincial approval cover all your expenses? How long did it take to become approved and then to get a surgery date?

I'm not comepletely sure but I don't believe it is done in Manitoba. If you use the top corner "search", you may get more information about the DS. It sounds like a great procedure but you have to go elsewhere.

I would contact manitoba health and ask them.  I know there are people here who have had RNY in alberta or ontario , I would imagine the process would be similar.
