Dr's appointment today

Well I talked to my GP today and she says she has quite a few clients that go to Mexico for various surgeries rather than waiting here to get it done.  She can do my follow up if I decided to go to Mexico.  She has three patients that have had various wls done.  So I feel pretty comfortable now.

I talked to Andrea yesterday again and I am number 200 on the list when the criteria opens up.  I have been on since June 2010 I thought it was March but it is June.  If could get my BMI below 47 then I guess it would make it a bit shorter, but I am still looking at 18 months to get in on the Orientation Session.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the M & G.  It looks like Mexico here I come, now if I could just not feel guilty about spending the money I send my forms to Trish today.

I was given this advice by someone else...the amount of money you will save on food after you've had the surgery will make up for what you spend for the surgery and eventually you will be ahead.

I agree with Dianne and after all the years of working and paying for all the other things we need in life, its about time we ge to have something too right? I have given up alot of non-essential spending in terms of manicures, eating out, anything for the house that we don't need..money I can put to good use here. In giving up those things, it shows my family Im committed to making this work without having it affect our finances.
