I am to, but for the life of me can't figure out why I should have to be, because if I had any other disease and surgery would help it, I would be shouting from the roof tops. All part of the stigma I guess. I can't believe that there is a real chance out there for me to have a normal sized life. How awesome is that. WOW

I hope that I don't offend anyone by this post. There are alot of people on our site who haven't shared with the general public that they have gone for WLS. I just want to remind everyone to please respect everyone privacy.
Thanks,

I agree that we shouldn't have to hide, but in general I am private about my life until I get to know people...then look out, you're bound to find out more than you bargained for! My biggest issue was when I worked to lose on my own pre-op everytime someone made a weight loss/diet comment to me, it sent me for a skid..knowing that, and knowing the people around me, I decided it was best to be QUIET about WLS and all it entails. LOL Worked great for me!! Now I can handle the comments and I don't freak out.....
Ohh and if I haven't met you in person...you won't get much out of me either!
Funny though, the young boys(family & friends) that are into working out, talk to me lots....ABOUT PROTEIN...LMAO! "where do you get those shaker bottles?...I hate lumpy protein!"
