i'm home

just wanted to let everyone know that im home.i ended up staying only 1 night in the hospital.the staff on the sugi ward was awesome,especially lindsey.they had so many qw=uestions for me and i answered them as best i could.i just wish that the meals were better suited for us post op.for breakfast yesterday i was given but didnt eat.oatmeal and cornflakes.at least for lunch they tried witha boiled chicken breastcovered in gravey.thank goodness hubby was around and went and got me some wendis chili.fyi it was a hystorectomy not wls

Glad to hear you are home and on the mend! I never could figure out hospital food, even when you let them know you have special requirements, you still get mystery meat! And kudos to hubby to ddoing the Wendy's run..having what you need for nourishment will only help towards feeling better every day. Rest up and be relieved its over with!

 wow!! that was really fast! were you glad to be going home so soon, or did you feel rushed out of there? im sure you are much more comfy at home, and the food.... yeah always better at home! lol

So glad that you are on the mend & starting to feel better!  It was so nice meeting you and getting to chat and have you answer my questions.  Your story is so inspirational and encouraging  Can't wait to have my surgery and be on the loosers bench.  Take care and hopefully I'll see you at the next M&G.

I am also glad to hear about your food issues in the hospital, for the day that I finally have my surgery, I will know for future, to make sure that I have hubby bring me food too :)
