I DID IT!!! OLA MEXICO

I booked my flight and surgery for Mexico..May 21 flight, May 22 surgery and the start of a new me! I can not believe that I am thisclose to starting to be free of this weight..and the best part, unlike in the past is that this will be weight that wont, I guarantee it, wont come back. Who-hoo! Now the jitters start..

Thank you ladies for the support and well wishes. If it wasn't for corresponding with people on here and feeling reassured from others that its not as ridiculous as it sounds when I say it out loud, I would never have had the nerve to do it. Hubby even cashed in two weeks vacation to help offset the cost..and it wasn't even my idea! I got the time off work just this morning with not mu*****uisition and now that everything is booked Im feeling very good about my decision. Even my hair looks fabulous today! I can hardly wait to swap stories!

Very exciting for you, you'll have to mark the sleeps on the calander!  and your hair is probably behaving because it knows what's coming!  joking (you just gotta be able to joke about these things here - LOL)

Oh NGD, I sure know what you mean. I have read threads on this and it really bothers me..but not enough to cancel. Years ago when I had suffered a very traumatic time in my life, I lost alot of hair..and I was sure I was going bald..the doc reassured me that it would eventually come back. It did and super curly!!! Much finer but to the point where I straighten it every day. I am prepared for it and although I know i will probably cry over it, Ill do what I can to wait it out!

 Do you mind if I ask, which dr and clinic are you going to and how much are you paying?

Madeline, I have the same questions, where, how much, which Dr.  Me to if you don't answer I understand.  I am likely planning on Mexico myself.

I checked with Andrea at the Clinic here in Wpg the other day and nothing has come out from the gov yet about the program.  They suspect that when it does come out the age will raised to 65 vice 55, but as for the BMI it sounds like it will stand at 47 and they will also being doing surgery on men.  So my BMI is 49 I have been working my preverbable a** off to get there.  Mine was almost 57 1.5 years ago.  Don't think I will make the 47 on my own.  So it looks like Mexico for me and my niece actually wants to come along to.
