Finally home

Hello Ladies,

so it's thursday morning and feeling much better. I did very well in surgery but recovery wasn't so great, they gave me morphine for the pain which only made me get sick, took them a bit to figure out the connection so i was up in recovery a bit longer than I should've been, that night i did get up a bit of a walk, sippin my fluids, and walking went home the next day, tuesday night, been sleepin in the reclining chair but slept really well last night and haven't taken any pain meds since last evening. Passing gas both ways finally. All in all things are good. I'm hoping to make it out to the meet and greet on sunday, but we'll take it one day at a time.

I still can't believe I did it, and now after all this time and talking , I'm on the losers bench!!

oh, and start weight the day of optifast was 339, weigh in day of surgery 310!!!

Good for you!  I hope to see you on Sunday, barring bad weather, I'll be there (it's snowing crazy here but it is only supposed to be 5 cm so that's nothin'.  I think i should that optifast just for fun....... sounds like it works pretty good and my surgery won't be for quite a few months at best.  Soon you'll be in Two-der-land!  I'm so happy for you but take care for the next while - no motorcycle riding or squash games.....

Wow...you did great on the Optifast.  Good for you.   So glad to hear your surgery went well and you're at home and on the mend.  Hopefully you will make it to the M&G on Sunday.  

Welcome to your new life.  I have a seat here next to me on the loosers bench!  I will keep a few open for those of you still waiting.  The next year will be one of the most exciting of your life!

 you, my dear, are being very modest! you didnt tell them how impressed the nurse was as you recovered or the fact you were up doing dishes and making supper for you family tonight! ( even if it was a little slowly) you are a freakin super woman!!! you are a true inspiration to me girl! you are totally rockin this surgery!
