Great Book - Before and After
Started a great book last night that I found online at Chapters. Before and After - Living and Eating Well after Weightloss Surgery by Susan Maria Leach. It starts with a few pre-op diary entries then goes through the next year of post op and the changes, challenges, losses and gains. Not lb. gains but the emotional and life changing gains. It is very well written, had me glued to it well past bed time :-) . What I really liked was she talks about relationships and the changes she went through with some friends, her spouse and her family.
Now getting into the food part - looks like some great recipes! Also bought another book that is a cookbook for after weightloss surgery and at the bottom of each recipe is has a chart for the various surgeries and the post surgery stages to adapt the recipe to suit. Looks very good but I forgot what it's called. Will post it later if anyone is interested.

I bought that book too..along with WLS for Dummies..both excellent! Even though she had rny, and Im leaning towards the sleeve, I still got alot of great information from her book. I bought a cookbook as well,(cant remember the name but I bet its the same)..and really find them informative. Makes one see that you can eat after, and eat well.
I do and I refer to it often..just for information and reminders of what it will be like. I have done do much research on my own of bypass over sleeve that as I go through the book, I am able to differentiate what the sleeve will be like. I bought it on Amazon and it was eligible for the free shipping so it didnt cost me much more.
