whoohoo!! Your date is finally here! Sugar-free jello was a nice treat in the week following surgery. I also drank a lot of tea and no-sugar-added fruit juices. I would also suggest a couple different flavours of Ensure or Boost....the variety is nice when you're drinking so many of them. The chocolate Equate protien-added shake from Walmart is good. I find it not quite as sweet as the others. When I got home from surgery I was concerned about not getting dehydrated, so I was was constantly sipping on anything and everything. Good luck on Monday and I can't wait to hear from you when you're on the loser's bench.
I kinda feel the same way. My surgery was this past Monday and I'm feeling a bit lost as to what I should be eating. It's kinda funny that I've been waiting and preparing for this day for over a year but when it finally came I felt a bit unprepared for whatever reason.
I've been trying to get some protein in but am not too concerned about meeting my min. requirement as my stomach is still healing and at this point I'm just trying to get something in me. I've had some boost and chicken broth to start with and already in 5 days have upgraded to a small amount of greek yogurt and pureed soup. Popsicles feel good on my stomach and jello is an option too.
I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet either. Maybe we can fumble through this together. :)

Good luck tomorrow. Don't worry at this point about post surgery. Just have some broth on hand, jello, sugar free Popsicles and I found water down apple juice a life saver as water tarted to taste gross. Like others have said you will not get much protein in the first few weeks and don't worry about it. As you heal everything will be easier.
hmm my first couple of weeks was
jello
pudding
mushroom soup
jello
pudding
mushroom soup
vitamins
Boost
You prob wont feel much like eating so dont stalk up on huge volumes of food.
Pretty much the same thing over and over. Around week 3 I found I could tolerate shrip and pretty much ate that 6 times a day for 2 weeks, lol.
