VSG

 Is there a max BMI to get a  VSG instead or bypass ? I am going to my doctor to be refered to the program at the end of the month . I know I don't qualify but I am hoping that if criteria widens I would be closer to the top of the list . Well as close as one can get (LOL) . What do I need to know for my appointment with my family doctor ?

I don't think there is a difference for either surgery and as far as i know, your doctor will send the referal and he or she will fill out the information. Good Luck!!

You have to have a bmi of 47.0 or under regardless of which surgery you want.
