 i just wanted to give a heads up that surgeries might be cancelled.i just got off the phone with my drs. and they cancelled my surgery at the vic because they are short anistesiogists(spelling error)
my surgery is non weight loss related .

That sucks! I spoke to Andrea and they've booked their july surgeries already... I'm just hoping I get in before the new year! ( I'm a may 2010 referal) 

Mexico is looking better and better every day- except the 5000+ bill ... sigh

i have had my rny already this was for a different surgery.but i thought i would give a heads up incase they decide to cancel other surgeries

I only got word of my surgery date 4 weeks prior to surgery.  Hopefully once you're done with the NUT this month you will hear something within the next few months.   Stay positive...once you get the call time moves so quickly. 

Are you a May 2010 or 2011 referral??? 

If their is a short supply of anesthesiologist, all surgeries will be affected..not only for weight loss. Thanks for the heads up. For what its worth, Rainyone, if you are a 2010 May referreal and they have already booked July 2012 surgeries and Im assuming you werent in  the time frame, (that means you are at least 2 plus years waiting) there is no way that their phone message is correct..today it still says 18 months waiting..NO WAY thats gonna happen!

ooops i meant may 2011... still not used to it being 2012 lol.. you would think I would be after 2+ months !

I'm feeling kinda ripped off because I was referred the same month and I am only waiting for my one-on-one  and that is not until May 3rd.  I was kinda hoping to get the other appts out of the way and be scheduled for ??? July but I guess that's not going to be a happening thing.  dam.

Hopefully by next Christmas.......
