Has anyone been following "My 600 lb life" on TLC?

It is a series of 4 episodes that follows the WLS of 4 people who weighed in at over 600 lbs.  They started filming in 2004 and have followed these people for the last 7 years.  I thought it was very eye opening for my family because it shows the reality of surgery, complications and how important home support is from family and friends.  Also how crazy some family's are..... wow. lol

 I have wanted to SLAP some of the families. The mother who told her son at about 272 pounds that he needed to put some weight back on???

i love this show.it shows the reality of what we have to deal with and the problems that are associated with bypass surgery

I always try to watch shows like this. I agree with ccricket, I was so mad when she said that Donald would be fine if he was to gain some weight. I think the weight loss was the only reason he survived.
