I'm doing good...my stomach and sutures are a bit tender but I'm able to move around with ease. I'm able to get in my clear liquids too, but it's slow going because the sips are so small.
I found the Optifast really hard the first 3-4 days. It got much easier by the second week and I actually looked forward to the shakes. I told people that if for some reason my surgery was postponed I would have easily been able to manage 3 weeks of shakes. I mixed mine in the blender with ice and crystal light with the vanilla or instant coffee with the chocolate. If I was in the mood for some extra sweetness I added some splenda.
Congrats on your surgery date. If you're anything like me the next month will be filled with many mixed emotions. I just kept my eye on the prize and thought of others before us who had absolutely no regrets in having the surgery.
