Spinach dip
LOL -- that's okay! I decided to have an egg last night for supper after reading that you are already on a soft diet and checking out some other postop VSG diets on the internet. It kind of sat like a lump in my stomach, but it tasted good! I couldn't actually eat all of it. I'm trying cottage cheese with supposedly flavourless protein powder in it for breakfast. (I realized the protein powder is probably similar to the Beneprotein and I already have it.) It's so-so, but at least I'm getting more protein that way.
Have a great rest of the long weekend! I'm still off work for another week. How about you?

Ya I did the egg and the first time it did the same to me just laid there. cottage cheese is good very high in protein. Greek yogurt is also very high, try adding 0% powder milk to your daily milk for even more protien.
I have as "long as I need" but likey in couple weeks since going batty at home!!

I've tried Greek yogurt and I must be the only person who doesn't like it!! Maybe once I can put fruit or something in it I will be able to eat it. I tried it twice before my surgery and just didn't like the taste or the texture.
That's a good tip to try adding powdered milk. I'll try that.
I'd like another three or four weeks off!! I have a second job working at home doing medical transcription, though, so I'm still doing that. I can do it whenever I feel like it and I'm paid by what I type, not by the hour, so it works out really well.
