Wishing you a speedy recovery and look forward to hearing all about the next phase of your journey. By the way, you are so pretty that you dont look like you need to lose any weight from your picture....

Thanks so much Madelaine. It's been 14 months in the making and now that it's 3 days away I have to admit I'm a little scared about the surgery. But I think that's normal. I know I will be fine. For all of you who have just started or are in the waiting period of this journey, hang tough. The time truly does pass quickly.

Hi Lori,

I am absolutely thrilled for you. I have been following your posts for several months. Our journey is of the same time frames. Not sure if you remember me but I was in your group session back in September. You may remember me from the story I shared about my mom getting an acceptance letter the same time I did only to be told a couple of months later she did not meet the criteria due to her age. Anyway, I will be going for my surgery 6 days after you. I have my Pre Op at the Vic the day of your surgery. So, you will be on my mind while I am there and all day. I will be sending you good thoughts. I hope you have a very speedy recovery and I look forward to hearing how things went.

I am on day six of OptiFast and I am a bit disappointed because I have only lost 4 lbs. Is this average or do you think I am below average in the weight loss at this point? How much did you lose at 6 days and how much have you lost in total to date on OptiFast?
