i was thinking that maybe one of the vets can talk to the Dr's and see if there is a way that we can have a monthly meeting in one permanent spot.say like a boardroom or meeting room at the Vic.also to have it on a specific day of the month.
we could see if the Vic would give us the space as a part of the trial,as there are more and more people joining group(which is great)
that way we don't have to be quiet or embarrassed when we talk about everything openly.
its just an idea and my thought.

The Vic has a room in the basement maybe they could let us use!If other people are interested I Can call the Vic and ask!

A permanent location like this would be awesome. If we were to pick a specific day such as the15th of every month that probably would not work for most unless it was something like the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Saturday of every month. Maybe we could put together some type of survey on preferred, most convenient days for everyone. I also like the idea mentioned before about having one weeknight and one weekend M&G per month to make it more convenient. 

I love the idea of having a set meeting day each month, would make it easier for those who have busy schedules to plan.   Would also love to see an evening weekday gathering for those of use who can't make it on the weekends.

I keep reading about the meet & greets,  are these open to anyone, or only for those who have already had the surgery?  I would be interested in attending if it is open to those who are still in the pre-surgery process of consults, dieticians and so forth.

you are welcome to come.we have lots of people who are on various stages of the journey.we are having one this saturday at the polo park smittys@ 1pm.we are very open to the questions that you might have.we can answer the questions that the drs and staff cant.hope to see you there.just look for a group of women off to the side or ask for the oh table.

Thanks so much Sondra.  Unfortunately I have to work during the day on Saturday, but I will try to make it to the next one.  It would be really nice to speak to others who have gone through the process:)
