What is everyone eaing?
So Is everyone else eating greek yogurt till its coming out of your ears? How about those eggwhite omlettes? I was getting bored of them so I made it into egg foo yung it was really good. I still have a protein shake or two in a day, or all my hair falls out. I take my vitamins and calcium every day. I still like half a protein bar as a snack now and then. I really try to measure everything I eat. The weight isat a standstill but I think my body is still trying to adjust, that or tbis is where I am going to stay. The last pair of pants I bought was a size 4 so maybe I am just expecting too much. The largest pant I wore was a size17or 18. I would go through te surgery again. The hairloss is a small pice to pay for all the energy and good health. I take absolutely no medication at all anymore. I had high blood pressure diabetes high colesterol and many other problems. They are all gone. What really amazes me is I can run up and down my basement stairs 10 times in the morning getting clothes out of the dryer for my kids without huffing an puffing. Its a good feeling. I hope everyone is well and cant wait to see everyone at the next meet and greet.
Thanks for the update.
What am I eating? I LOVE hummous!! I eat it every day. I have started making my own (super easy and way cheaper). I usually eat it with veggies (green peppers cut into strips are so delicious with it), Sometimes I'll eat it with rice crackers or make pita 'crackers' (just break pita break into small pieces and heat in the oven for a few minutes).
I'm not loving eggs right now. I'll try to have 1-2 a week but it's hard.
I love milk! I can only have about 1/2 glass at a time.
Best way to do Greek yogurt? Soak shallots and garlic in water until completely soft, drain and then puree. Then add to greek yogurt! SO GOOD!!! It's kind of like tzatziki dip but Perisan style. I add it to everything!
I'm at a bit of a stand still...I'm past the surgeon's goal but still want to lose 20 more. Laura wanted me to add carbs and starches to my diet b/c I was losing too quickly, but now that I have (very little though), I'm barely losing. Maybe I'll go back to no carbs for a few weeks and see if I can 'kickstart' my metabolism again.
Take care!

It's great to read about what everyone is eating and how they are doing. I'm now just a few days past my three months and am pretty much eating everything. Am loving having meatloaf that I add chopped carrots, mushrooms and onions to. Kind of then get my protein and veggies all in one meal. It's so yummy too. Have been eating eggs a couple times a week and so far have no problem with them. Still can't have any seafood, even the smell of it makes me sick. When I saw Laura at 8 weeks out I was told I was dropping weight too quickly and since I was working out and hour to 1 1/2 hours a day was told to add some carbs. Did well with that as I just had a few crackers or a piece of toast now and then. Haven't really changed my diet much but since seeing her a couple weeks ago I can't seem to get the scale to move. I'm three pounds from hitting 199 and it just won't move. Haven't changed one thing and it's very fustrating. Am also losing hair like you wouldn't believe. Have very thick hair to start with but I am starting to panic as It's coming out everywhere. I'm getting more than enough protein and am just so darn confused. if this keeps up I going to need a wig as I can tell when putting it up for the gym that my ponytail is just not has full anymore. : ( Also had a very emotional time getting rid of clothes but am having fun buying new ones even though I keep picking the wrong size. Never thought I would get into a 12 and can't remember when I was that size before.

I have a protein shake/smoothie for breakfast everyday.
I eat food like:
tuna salad, hummus, chicken, egg salad, meatballs, ground beef and pork, fish
I also eat dried beans (black or soy). They are high in protein and my body still loses weight when I eat them even though there are carbs in beans.(eat some mini rice cakes when have beans for protein to ensure complete protein)
I am not eating wheat at all, if I eat a cracker it is wheat free/ gluten free. I find I have less cravings and weight comes off easier when I eat no wheat . Very little sugar.
I do allow myself small treats like a few tick tacs or tiny peices of chocolate,
I find if I eat out or get creative with cooking I retain water and weight loss stops.
I juice veggies as well as my veggie intake is much lower than it used to be! I try to juice about 3 or 4 times per week.i add tiny bit of apple or pear to veggie juices in various combinations ie.kale, lettuce, spinach, celery, carrot, beets, cucumber.
I count calories, protein , and fiber. Weigh and measure everything. I was hoping to not have to journal everything and weigh and measure but when I don't my weight loss stops.
To make sure weight loss still happens I eat 'same old' standby foods listed above or I start getting head hunger and cravings.
Nice to see what others are eating!
Love the Greek yogurt idea! Do you cook shallots/garlic? Or use raw?
