So much good news!
I've been reading everyone's posts and am so happy for all of you that are doing so well with your new lifestyles! And congrats to those of you going for surgery soon....
I am happy to say that I am now 15lbs away from being able to be referred to St B again. It is still my wish to have surgery in Winnipeg even though I am on the list for Regina. Going to make a Dr appointment for March, hoping to be at that bmi of 47 by then, so I can get that letter. When I started a few years ago it was 57.5 and today is 50.5 so I am proud of how far I have come.
Shari, for sure I would love to meet you if you come to Portage. I have lunch from 11:48 until 12:48, so we could meet somewhere. When you know when you will be here let me know and I will send you my cell number...

That's INCREDIBLE!! That is a HUGE drop in your BMI!! WELL DONE!!! Definitely try to arrange another appointment...you can lose that 15 pounds girl!! Maybe try a "pre-op" type diet of just protein shakes and bars and a TON of veggies...but not as strict as the real pre-op diet since you don't want to put your body into shock (and starvation mode).
I'm really impressed with how far you've come. Way to go!!!
