BIG NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well... I haven't been here in a little while because i have been privately FREAKING OUT!!!
I had my surgery in August - so I'm about 5 months post-op.
But just found out this week that...

I'M PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY WORD!!!
we've been trying for 6 years - and no luck.
and now when the surgeon tells me DO NOT GET PREGNANT...
well...I'm pregnant!!

I'm about 6 weeks along and I've already been seen my a specialist and my GP and I have a referral to a dietician. We moved to Saskatchewan so I don't have access to the surgeons & Laura like I would like to during this time.

The scary thing is, at my last surgeon followup - he said no one had gotten pregnant under 6 monts post-op so I guess i'm some sort of record which makes me VERY nervous.

So... if you could please send some prayers our way - we have been praying & longing for this baby and i want to do everything i can to make sure it stays healthy & growing.

I will keep you updated.

I am SOOOOO happy for you!!!! Congrats to you, your hubby and daughter!!!! Please keep us posted with how you're feeling!
When is the next visit with the Surgeon? It would be great if we could schedule a Meet & Greet for when you're back in Winnipeg so we can see you!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON SUCH GREAT NEWS!!!

Just reading your message gave me such a boost of encouragement & hope. I have one child but struggled to get pregnant with him and have now experienced over 3 years of infertility, along with 3 miscarriages. I'm hoping that having WLS will not only help me with my jouney back to a healthy weight, but also help me in my fertility issues.

Good luck & please keep us posted in your journey. I'm very interested to know more regarding upping your nutrients & suppliments during pregnancy.

OH WOW!!! Huge congrats girl!!! Super happy for you! Hey, everything happens for a reason! Doctors requests or not. Will be praying for you for sure! There are LOTS of mama's that got pregnant early post-op. Maybe not in our group/forum but there are lots(and lots) on the preg board. I am sure they can help you out with any of questions.

Now as for moving...are ya comin' back???? LOL
