I can't believe it! I stepped on the scale this morning and it read '199'!!! I'm in shock!
I just had to share this all with you, even though it's a 'scale victory' instead of a NSV.
Of course, the moment all my clothes went on, it went back up to 200, but I only count my weight without clothes.
Now that I'm only 4 pounds away from Laura's goal weight, I know that I still want to lose at least 20 more pounds...I'd love to even get down to 160! (I'm 5'9").
I see Laura on Wednesday...hmmm...wonder if I can lose the rest of the 4 pounds in 5 days???
My surgery was Sept 26...I can't believe how quickly the weight flew off, despite a few loooonnng stalls!!
I'm starting my training program for the half-marathon in January. I really am serious about making a relay team (5 people) for the marathon in June. Each leg is between 4-6 miles (around). I would take the first leg so I could continue doing the half.
Who's in???????
Ciau!

Yay! Kaos. What a wonderful feeling you must be experiencing!
I've had some scale victories lately and I know how happy I feel. I am actually looking forward to seeing the Dr in January so he can see how well I have been doing. I'm still over 300 but I am down 50 lbs in 4 years and am starrting to notice the difference in my clothes.
Keep up the great work!

Way to go Kaos!!    Can I have your old clothes??    Haha...just kidding.  You give me so much inspiration since we're the same height and have/had the same amount of weight to lose.

I'd love to join your relay team but since I still don't have a surgery date it's highly unlikely I'd be in the kind of shape I'd need to be to run in the relay this June.  Maybe in 2013.

Congrats! That is awesome!!!
I remember I joined the group just shortly after you had your surgery. What an accomplishment. I can't wait to see a 1 infront of my digits too. I'm down to 204, and seem to be in a stall so we'll have to see.
Super proud of you!

That is so awesome TotalKa_os.  It's just an amazing feeling to see the pounds shed away and how much better you feel.  I'm the same height as you and and can't wait to be in the "One"derland.  Only about 15 pounds to go.

After being away from work last week I kind of didn't run much, instead I lay on the beach and it's amazing how much better I felt about myself.  Never did I imagine feeling so much more confident.

I'm in for a relay team but am hoping to train to do the half as well.  Hopefully we can find enough people to put a  couple teams together.  : )
