New here intro

 Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.  I have already learned so much from reading here but know that there are a million things to learn! 
Does anyone know what the minimum BMI is to qualify for surgery?
Also how long does it typically take from the time of the referral until the time you get a letter from the surgeon?

I know that from the date of my doctor's referral, I believe it was 2 weeks later I received a confirmation letter from the Clinic and then they will send you another letter with your appointment date a couple of weeks before you see the Surgeon.  I waited for about 7 months, the time went by quickly. 

The BMI limit is 47.

The lowest is 35bmi, or that is what it was when I was approved.
