Can't believe it!
Hey Ladies,
I can't believe how fast this weight is flying off!! I am down to 208....I was 290 when I started this whole thing, 260 at my consult.
I am SO close to "one"derland... and only 13 pounds from their 'goal'!! I'm only 2 1/2 months out from surgery. I had no idea it would happen this quickly! I'd like to lose 28 more.
I am wearing size 14 (from a regular store!!) and size large tops...WHAT THE???!!!
People's reaction is just priceless...I've heard the words, "I hardly recognized you" more times than I can count!!
I see Laura again in 2 weeks...hopefully she won't think I'm losing too quickly. But I don't really know what else to do?
Question...What happens when you hit your goal weight??? Is there any 'danger' of losing too much? Just wondering if anyone has experienced the 'opposite' and lost too much? I doubt that'll happen to me...I just love food too much!
I still haven't experienced 'hunger'. I will sometimes go all day with out eating...just b/c I forget or I'm too busy with my little ones...and I don't even realize it until late afternoon. I know this is unhealthy...I don't do it on purpose...I guess that's what happens when food is no longer the centre of my life! Does the hunger feeling ever come back?
Just thought I'd post an update.
Sorry I missed the last Meet and greet. Had fun in the States but actually didn't buy any clothes...didn't really see the point yet! I'm still wearing clothes that I wore years ago!
Take care everyone,
K

Congratulations! It really does feel good! At my highest I was 251, at my pre-op I was 236, surgery day approx 225 and today I hit 195. I'm not a real quick loser but it's sure made a difference. I'm going out this weekend so I wanted to buy a new shirt. It's strange being able to buy clothes in the regular section but it feels wonderful! I have another 55 lbs I'd like to lose so hopefully I am close by next summer.
I personally do feel hunger and at times I feel like I can eat and eat. I am finding a pattern though and am thinking it is linked to my monthly cycle. I also most of the time have to remind myself to eat and have found myself not eating enough some days. Even if I am not hungry I try to have a little something. This is much easier to do at work because I am on a consistent schedule. I keep sugar free puddings and applesauce in my locker so I have that little snack to keep me going even if I really don't feel like eating.
Hope to see you soon!
