 well 6 months ago my life ws changed for the better.i'll admit there have been some rough patches but i would do it again in a heartbeat.i am down over 70lbs wearing a size 12/14 past the surgons goal and 20ish lbs from personal goal.feeling good (most ofthe time).there are some foods i do miss but can live without,maybe one day i can eat them in small doses.

Congrats on your 6 months!!!  so happy for you,70lbs that's amazing!!  i couldn't even imagine how it feels to fit into a size 12/14,.(..well not yet anyway..heh heh).  Keep it up, you're doing awesome!!

That's awesome!  Reaching goal weight (or the surgeon's goal weight, anyway!) in only six months has to feel really terrific.  (I've noticed on nearly everyone's ticker that the surgeon's goal weight is not nearly as low as everyone's personal goal weight.) 

It's always good to hear that people don't regret having the surgery no matter what, even if they've had some rough times.

 thanks, i think the reason the goals are so different is because this is a trial and they want the numbers to be good,so they set the goals high so they have a better sucess rate.that way they will get more funding and continue the program.

isn't it amazing how when we start to lose & see results, we tend not to miss those foods anymore?? :)   i am dying for a piece of bread with honey...BUT, i look on the scale and keep nibbling some nuts. 

we are blessed! :)
