6 mths for me also
Congrats to you Sondra!!!
Can't believe 6 mths already. I feel great, I had a rough time at surgery but I to would do it again in a heart beat.
I have had no hair loss, yet
Down over 66 pounds
10 inches off my hips and waist
Went from a size 22 to almost into a 14
24 pounds away from dietician goal, I do not have a weight goal # in mind, I feel when I get there I will know.
I still do not eat rice, bread or pasta by choice, i will add these back in when I am at goal,
I do eat chocolate . Haven't tried alcohol yet, was waiting till I was 6 mths out.
There is not any food I miss, even my diet coke.
I am losing average of 6-8 lbs a mth now
Love my energy, everything is so much easier now

Congrats to you too, Shan!
As I replied to newfie99999's message, it's always good to hear that people don't regret having the surgery even when they've had some rough times along the way.
I'm trying to cut down on the diet Pepsi & drink more water. I've read all kinds of stories about how diet pop actually makes you gain weight because it makes you hungrier. It's a hard habit to break (I say as I drink more of it), but I know after surgery it's a no-no.
Good luck on the continuing journey!

Congrats Shannon! You're doing awesome! It's so wonderful that you haven't had any hair loss, hopefully it doesn't start. On the other hand at not yet 3 months out I'm starting to see more than normal coming out when I'm washing my hair. Hopefully I can make it through without no signifcant loss. Hope to see you soon!
