YAY....my clothes are starting to be too big
Today marks three weeks since surgery and my clothes are all starting to be too big. My jeans can now be putted off without unbuttoning. It's such an amazing feeling. Time to start bringing out the items I haven't been able to wear in a little bit. At least I have a size range of clothes that I kept that were too small to get me by for a while. Put on my snowmobile suit and it's even too big. Going to put it up on Kijiji and am thinking of starting a website to sell some of my clothes. Will fund my new clothes in the future.
Yay! Congrats! Isn't it a WONDERFUL feeling?
I was a size 20 last spring...now I'm wearing size 14 from Joe Fresh. I even fit a size 14 from Jacob! NO MORE PLUS SIZE STORES!!!!
It's incredible...I also have clothes from years ago sitting in boxes downstairs...it's been a lot of fun trying them all on...doing fashion shows for my hubby.
At one point, I tried on a pair of pants that were once a favourite of mine...and they were too big. I said to my husband, "Oh no...I loved those pants...I'm going to miss them!". He laughed...and then I realized how ridiculous that sounded...that I was sad about a pair of pants being TOO BIG!! He told me we'll go buy 10 pairs in a smaller size! Ha ha!
Keep at it!!

Hi, found this forum and am so excited to hopefully get some opinions and stories that will help me make the decision regarding the lap band. I am a single mother of 2 little ones, a full time student...and about 120lbs over weight. I had the surgery booked about two years ago and backed out last minute because I was scared. Was planning on trying it again on my own and ended up with an extra 20 lbs. I am scared that this will not work...especially becuase this is a huge cost. I hate the way I feel emotionally and physically, but am scared to make this jump. ANY advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!!
