So why , why won't anymore weight come off??  I see DrVergis on the 1st and wanted to be down to 320lbs so he would give me the ok for my surgery....now i'm afraid he'll ask me to lose the extra pounds ..and i have been trying..i'm so upset and feeling stuck and don't know which way to turn or what to do :(

and no i have not had surgery yet...still waiting :(

just wanted to vent, thanks for listening

try not to just go by the number on the scale, how are your clothes fitting? did you happen to take any measurments? how are you feeling? i bet you've gained some muscle, and we all know that weighs more then fat. i'm sure if you tell your dr just how hard you've been working he will understand. hang in there girl! please don't get discouraged, you have been doing great! you will get your surgery and isnt this just a good example of why some of us need the wls. if the numbers on the scale aren't what you want them to be, keep in mind that all your hard work is still a huge deal. by you getting in better shape makes your surgery that much safer! remember to be kind to yourself

If you're desperate to lose some more weight before Dec 1, try just drinking protein meal replacement shakes and veggies...it's similar to the preop diet and most people lose between 10-20 pounds in two weeks. You have about 10 days left...you can do it. It's a super fast way to lose weight! You'll feel hungry for the first couple of days but then you'll be fine.
It's also a good way to 'cleanse' your system and prepares you for life after surgery.
Not recommended as a long term fix obviously...but good for those quick losses.
You can do it!!
Don't buy high calorie shakes...keep them under 250 if you can.

You are doing great, keep at it! when my weight goes down, I drop, then stall for a couple weeks, then go down alot in a week or two. If you are following your food and exercise regime it will come off. Be patient, don't give up...you are almost there!

You can do it!

Your work will show on the scale...it has to eventually!

So proud of you for how hard you have been working!! BE PROUD!!!

I really hope Dr. Vergis will see that as well!

I would actually agree with TotalKa_os - the shake & veggie diet will work wonders.  It is the hardest thing i have ever done, but if it leads to you getting a surgery date - it will be worth it!!!

I also think that if your measurements are different, Dr. Vergis will notice that and see that proper changes are being made.

Let us know how it goes!!
xoxo
