bariatric surgery on the news

Hey all,
Just thought you might be interested that they did a segment on bariatric surgery on CTV tonight. They were actually 'showcasing' lapband surgery, but they also discussed the WRHA pilot program.

I can't believe that they didn't talk more about the other options. One sentence about the project. That's too bad.

Didn't see it but WOW that's pretty lame!!! I will never understand why they don't give all the options! For example even though no one performs the DS here, it should still be mentioned. We are all so different and should have the choice of surgery(after researching of course)

For the record, I think ALL WLS types should be covered, PERIOD!
