Anyone going to the group session Nov 16?

 Just curious if anyone here is booked for this ?

  It was a good session .... About an hour with dr hardy talking about obesity, and the surgery in general and then Laura doing an hour and a half on nutrition. We set SMART goals ( specific,measurable, achievable , Relative and timely ) 
Got an idea of timeline being about 6 months from consultation ( would work out to being about a year for me from referral ). 

Also tried kefir and some Greek yogurt on the nutrition break and it was very neat . I'm working on eating  breakfast on a regular basis and I think both are good choices for me 


Ngd.... We were referred around the same time so be prepared :-) 
 

I was referred in April 2011 so it has actually only been about 6 months for me (but every day waiting seems like forever lol)   I hope it comes soon as I am soooooo ready.  I am glad your session went well, and I hope you get your date soon.   I really am hoping for at least the consultation part soon but I am afraid I am not holding my breath...... :)

 I'm a may, 2011. I suspect by the time the surgery happens it will be may 2012 ish. I meet with dr vergis in December 

OHHHH I am so excited!  After reading your post and checking (we received our confirmations on the same day! May 31)  I decided to be brave and call Andrea.  I am going to be in the City Dec 1st and  wanted to see if it would be possible to coordinate my session (if I really was getting close to the top) with my time in Wpg.  Unfortunately she offered me Nov 30 or Dec 1st (both days just DON"T work)  but I took DECEMBER 16TH!!!!  So it will be another trip to the city ( I hope the roads will cooperate, that 7 hr drive is exhausting and my tires suck!)

Coincidently Andrea told me that she left a message on my home phone on Nov. 2 (which I didn't get - DAM TEENAGERS!!)  or I would have been in the Nov. 16th session!! 

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but for some reason I had lost my proper password and was struggling to sign it - I wrote it down this time!! haha

I got my consult with Dr Vergis on the 13 th 

Did you get the Dr consult at the group session or do they call you with that at a later date?

I received a letter with an appointment time and date about 10 days later:-)
