Just want to say Hi
Hi Daisy,
Welcome to the group. I just had the VSG on October 31st so I am just about two weeks out. I have been feeling really good since surgery and have no regrets at all. Like Tuckergirl suggests doing tonnes of reseach prior to surgery is so helpful and get to go into your consult with so many questions.
My starting weight was 262 and as of this morning I am down to 235.

Welcome to the group. I had VSG Feb 14/11. I have lost 104 lbs. I do not weigh myself, only when I go to the Dr. I haven't weighed myself in over a month, so it should be more. I see the dietican this week. I have absolutely no regrets. I was a carb addict too. I really find that high protein really helps with the sweet cravings. I actually enjoy exercise now and live a very active life. I have tons more energy and is wearing size 12 (down from size 26). I am a nurse. I researched all the procedures out there and wanted the VSG because I felt it was right for me. Dr. Andrew agreed that is was too. The group has been an amazing source of information, support and friendship for me. I feel truly blessed to have been given this second chance. I am going to make the most of it!!! So I wish you all the best with your journey. Welcome aboard!!!!
