ok another question from the newbie. my spouse is bigger than i am ( though not by much) he supports my decision for surgery, and says after he'll do the diet and excersise with me, but what if he can't do it.... does anyone else have an obese spouse? did they lift you up or bring you down, as it is hes a bad influence on what we eat,,,, i guess i'll have to be stronger. i absolutly adore him, so i hope he continues his awesomness

I will try to type and hope my husband is not looking or reading this.  He is obese according to the BMI calculators!! I was off the scale!!

He has been very supportive, he tried the pre-op diet and failed after the first day.  He eats what he wants and I eat some of it too.(Mine are smaller portions)

I figured that if I could survive on such a little amount of food that he could have 2x's the amount that I eat. he has lost almost 50lbs in a year.

He said that he loved me before and says that he loves me now too, sometimes I wonder??  How do you love a deflated 40 year old body? With bresticles, stretch marks, grey hair.

I love my husband and would not have been able to do this with out him or my family.(or my OH friends)

Hope this helps,
We love each other thru thick and thin!!

Michelle
