I'm home finally
Hi ladies, well I am finally home. Surgery was done by Dr hardy who I hadn't meet but was great. She came to see me then before long I was in recovery. Surgery went well and was doing well that I was to go home on Tuesday. Had been getting my fluids and broth and some protein so all was good. Dr hardy came to see me and said I would go home in the afternoon. Things then took a turn after having some crushed Tylenol for just minor pain. MOre just achky. I ended up vomiting which was got pleasesnt and ended up on a gravol drip. Now just children's Tylenol for me. Never saw Kim the dietician. Was suppose to come yesterday and never showed up and same thing this morning after editing 4 hours just to see her but finally they let me go as they tired and tried to page her. Now feel a liitle lost.
Off to rest for a bit didn't sleep well in the hospital. No place like home

Soooo glad to hear you're home!! You'll be able to down some regular tylenol in a day or so. I only had the crushed once and it was SOO disgusting that I never did that again. Your stomach will be able to tolerate one T3 at a time soon.
Kim came to visit me but she didn't tell me anything new....just reviewed a few things that I already knew and that was in the book. She was very nice and basically just wanted to 'check in' to see if I had any questions. She reiterated the importance of sipping water all day to avoid dehydration.
Please email me if you have any questions about anything. I'm 5 weeks out so it's still "fresh".
Rest...and try to walk around your house or sidewalk once in awhile. I used a walking stick for support.
Take it easy!!! Thinking of you!

Woohoo! Welcome home! Welcome to the loser's bench! It's great to hear your surgery went well. When I saw Kim she basically talked about what had been discussed with Laura pre-surgery and she didn't visit with me very long. Now that you're home just sip, sip, sip, and walk, walk, walk to get that nasty gas out. Listen to your body and rest when you need. I look forward to seeing you at our next meet and greet.
