question about carbs and RNY

Hey gals,
Just have a question about eating carbs with RNY...I'm not sure about something. Are carbs off limits? Will they make me sick? Or is it just in moderation?
I'm a bit scared to try them, only because I've heard some people say that they never eat them, or that carbs make people sick (or is that just for VSGers?)
I haven't had any dumping symptoms. I've felt nauseous a couple times when eating (probably b/c I ate too much or too fast).
But I'm a bit worried about trying things like my healthy homemade zucchini muffins or whole wheat buns.
I know that the most important thing is to get your protein in first, but I'm craving some bread!

 Hi! Sorry can't answer that as i had a vsg...but would LOVE recipe for healthy homemade zucchini muffins! I only have a very unhealthy zucchini cake recipe...but love zucchini.

Breads , pasta, things like that tend not to agree with my sleeve. 

I can have a quarter of a pc of bread, but fills me up so much that i can't fit protein in.

I would make the tiny size muffins.

i personally dont do carbs if possible.but having said that there are times when you just need a piece of toast.i would say try it but dont make a habit of eating breads and stuff.i am in a looong stall and i think its because of the carbs that have been introduced into my diet.make sure you eat your protien first and if there is room then have a bite of bread.i personally cant do bread it sits way to heavy in my pouch and i dont feel good for hours.

I have read a lot of bad things about carbs. I think they are dangerous as they call out my name and say "eat me". Going back to work before Halloween was a terrible, terrible idea. Hallloween is a very dangerous holiday. Today I had a cupcake,a cookie and some pumpkin seeds we made in class ( I did have to make sure they were cooked).  I'm soooooo bad, but they were so yummy. I was however able to say no to all the other junk that was offered to me and laid out in front of me. 

I have never dumped on anything. I tend to stick to protein, vegetables and fruit. I have had a small piece of bread with no difficulties and a small cupcake. Today was the first day I really overdid it but still I didn't get sick.

I have only once had a problem with something getting stuck and that was with the low carb pork rinds. It felt awful and I had no relief until I erped it all back up. Glad I was home and not surrounded by people.

I havent eatin to many carbs at all  a little bit of mashed potato, sweet potato no rice no pasta and the odd piece of toast half of 1 piece carbs tend to get stuck so dont want to go through thati have hand the odd cookie and small zucchini muffin biut ate slow hope ts helps
