I'm in a STALL!! AHH!
Hey gals....need some advice.
It's been almost a week without ANY weight loss (I'm only 2 1/2 weeks out). The scale actually reads 1.5 pounds HEAVIER!!!!
I am getting in my protein...about 70-80 grams a day. I'm trying to get in all my water, and since I'm having 2 meal replacement shakes each day (plus water), the liquids are pretty much covered.
I'm also eating unsweetened applesauce, sugar free pudding or yogurt each day, with a bit of pureed beans or soup.
I've also been walking 2 miles in the evenings.
So I don't understand why I'm not losing! It's so FRUSTRATING!!!
I've heard (and read) of this happening to others...just don't know what to do to get that scale moving again.
My calories each day can't be more than 600-800 (and hardly any are from sugar or fat).
Any tips or advice?
Thanks!
K

I've read (cause I ain't got a sleeve yet .....) that one thing that will help your piece of mind in a stall is to do your measurements. You can still lose inches even if you are not losing weight (so they say..) That is strictly what I read, no personal experience

It's perfectly normal..and REALLY ANNOYING! It will pass though! PROMISE! Your body is freaking out a bit from surgery, lack of calories and diet change. Once it gets used to it the changes you will drop weight again. Keep on doing what you're doing and you will get results very soon again. Just be good to you and yes do take measurements. I did, sporadically and WOW it wasn't really cool to see no weight loss but to drop a size... VERY COOL!
It can be frustrating! The scales I have at home are not accurate so I just gave up weighing myself. The last time I weighed myself was at my appt with Dr. Vergis on Oct. 4th. I have an appt with Laura in November and I won't weigh myself until then. I think it will be more exciting that way. I know I'm not losing very fast especially compare to what I have seen others post but some of my clothes have gotten a bit looser. I will do my measurements over the weekend. You're doing awesome and those pounds will keep coming off and we will hit those dreaded stalls that we have read about.
