Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving weekend! I know I did! I went out to my dad's yesterday and had turkey, sausage meat, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, pickled beets and a teeny bit of stuffing. It was soooo yummy even though I couldn't eat much. I just smeared my food around the plate to make it look like I ate more than I did and gave the dogs my leftovers. A couple hours laters I had a piece of pumpkin pie with whipped cream. I couldn't finish the pie so my daughter did. All of it sat very well in my pouch and I'm still not hungry, lol. I'm sure there was a lot of sugar in the pie and the beets so I either don't dump or they did the wrong surgery on me. It was the one thing I hoped I would never have from this surgery and a one reason I didn't want the RNY.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! It is great to see you flew through your first big eating holiday with no scars lol. I am doing this "this is my last thanksgiving before the surgery, I better eat everything that doesn't move" Such a bad mind set but I am working on it. I won't even begin to tell you what I ate (and I ate it all), I did make all my Thanksgiving favs ..... mmm
Gobble gobble everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone also!! Today is my 2 weekiversary!! Two weeks ago my life was forever changed and I have no regrets!
I was able to eat about 1/4 cup of pureed beans (in sauce) and I tried a teaspoon of mashed potatoes mixed with gravy...not the greatest idea!! I should have probably thinned out the potatoes a bit more. I felt a lot of pain in my side after that and had to lie down.
All in all, thanksgiving was a bit more low key this year. Just my parents came for dinner (don't worry, I gave them more than beans!!! )
I hope everyone has a fantastic 4-day week!
