Hello Everyone,

I woke up this AM feeling weak, shakey, and dizzy. I feel like I have a big heavy stone in my new tiny stomach. Anyone else feel yucky around this time? I wonder if I should stop my high BP pills?

Anyone have any advice for me, please?

sorry you ae feeling poorly.i reduced my bp pills and that seemed to help.it also is because of the limited nutrition you are getting.take it easy.if you are worried make appt with pcp to get him to check out the bp pills and modifiy your dose.
i notice im dizzy if i havent eaten a lot .

When did the MD say you could stop them.  I would predict that it is low BP that is causing your problems.  Please go to your GP and get it checked today!.  Let us know how you made out.

You ladies are all so wonderful and supportive - thank you so much. I woke this morning feeling much better.

I'll be calling my GP as soon as the office opens to check on the BP meds. I also made sure I had more nourishment yesterday. The protein shakes from the pre-op diet are now very unappealing as are the ones I bought from Costco. So I'm on the hunt for a protein drink that is better tasting.....

Thanks again,

Elaine

I was told to stop my blood pressure pills in the hospital because it was already lower then. I have a monitor at home and it is now normal. :) Hope you feel better soon.
