It's Official....I GOT A DATE

My surgery is schedule for October 31st and I start my pre-op on October 17th the day after I return from Chicago. Timing couldn't be any better.

I'm now jumping around doing the happy dance and this totally made my weekend.

PERFECT!!! How awesome is that?? I am thrilled for you! It will come quickly now, too! I remember VERY clearly how I felt once I got my date! I was very thankful for this board cuz I could talk about my excitement here, since I didn't tell more than a handful of people in the beginning.

Right on!! And it does go fast!!! I found out about my surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago and my surgery on Monday!! It seems like I got the call just last week.
Spend the next couple of weeks going to your favourite restaurants, enjoying things like pop, carbs (How I miss carbs!!) and wine!

Wahoo! Great news for you! Awesome. Take the time to savour the flavour, texture and smells of food. Make peace with the demon. It is the beginning of your journey. My advice to you is to be "present" and "aware" with all the stages of your journey. Good luck and God Bless!
