I got a surprise call from Andrea today letting me know my surgery is scheduled for October 24th! I'm so excited I couldn't do anything productive at work all day :)

Right on!!! Congratulations! You will be starting your preop diet in just a couple of weeks!! So exciting!!

It is! That's one of the first things I thought of lol.  I'm so grateful that the wait times aren't yet as crazy as other provinces - on the east coast it can up to a 5-10 year wait..

My pre-op diet starts the 10th of October - I'm already thinking of a last meal which is probably terrible but I can't help it!
