Maybe, just maybe

I have been so inspired by reading all of your posts and a little jealous because I don't qualify for Winnepeg. Edmonton was too intense and long and Medicine Hat said no because by the time my turn would come up(3 years) I would be over their age limit.
I finally got my Dr to refer me to Regina and I am so hoping this will work out. I am right in the middle of their age limit and BMI criterias. My Dr office phoned me Friday to get some blood work done which is not the normal stuff so here's hoping......
The wait time in Regina is about the same as here (18 months). I will have to attend some support meetings but my girlfriend has already said she would go with me.
I am going to phone this week to make sure they got my papers but keeping my fingers crossed that this time it will work out.

Found out this afternoon that my referral for Regina has been received - finally! So now the waiting begins. the nurse said not to expect to hear from them for close to a year so not much different that Winnipeg.

congrats on the size 7 jeans! You have done so well! I don't think I will ever be that small but I hope to be smaller.
