Well ladies...here it goes!!!
Tomorrow I start my 2 week pre-op diet. I kind of feel like it's all a bit surreal...can't believe it's actually here!!
The 'super organized teacher' part of me decided to make a 2 week menu plan on my laptop...with even a column to check off each day as it passes.
I went to the store and stocked up on all my favourite (and allowed) veggies...kind of sad that carrots are a no-no.
I had a wonderful weekend of "last meals". Tonight my hubby made me an amazing Persian dish..lamb, potatoes, yum yum yum!! We invited a few people to celebrate with us and my sister even brought her world famous skor ice cream cake!! Now I'm enjoying my last glass of white wine before I call it a night.
I'll let you know how things go...I'm hoping things pass quickly!!!
2 weeks ago I got the call about my surgery date...and that seems like yesterday! So I'm hoping the next 2 go by just as quickly.
Thanks for all of your advice and support.
Is there a Meet and Greet planned for Sept yet?

Yahoo, so excited for you Kaos. Down to the last 2 weeks. My advice to you, drink lots of water, be creative with the shakes and go to bed early.

Woohoo! I'm so excited for you! I do know about it feeling all a bit surreal. I'm done, home and healing and it still feels like a dream. What a wonderful dream come true!

It will go fast..and Sherry has is right, be creative and get more sleep! LOL worked like a charm for me..and I drank A LOT OF TEA!
