Update!

Hello :) I am doing ok, very tired. My pain yesterday was terrible because they weren't giving me strong enough as discussed at my pre-op. So I went through a couple hours of really nasty pain. My poor daughter was with me and wanted so bad to do anything she could to help. So now I am on the toradol, my usual codeine and hydromorphone in a pump. I've only had clear liquids and so far water is the only one that doesn't hurt. I'm in the OSA Risk because without oxygen my levels drop really low when I dose off. I will need to go for a sleep study. I had Dr. Andrew and Dr. Vergis. Dr. Andrew came to see me yesterday after I woke up to tell me everything went great. He saw me this morning again and told me I'm doing really well and could probably go he this evening. I told him I was not ready to go. When talking with a nurse she said I would definitely not go home today. I am up and about walking a couple times a day. Physio came and walked with me today and told me how well I was doing and that I didn't need her anymore. Now I go for walks alone. If only getting my pain under control could be as easy. It is also hot in here, I'm sweating terribly. I did bring a small fan and am so glad it was suggested. The fan and chapstick are my two most used items. I think I may now go home tomorrow but I think they need to find out what is up with my dropping oxygen levels. I'll update more when I can. I'm not sure if this makes a lot of sense as I'm so tired.
