Thanks Sherry, I have phoned so many clinics looking for their criteria but I'm not giving up. I meet all the criteria for Regina, so now I have to make sure my GP has sent in a referral. The lady there has been very nice checking to see if they got.

OMG, I read your post and if I didn't know any better I would have thought I wrote it!!

I too have been following everyone's journey for several months AND I was referred in Jan. 2011 AND my apt with the surgeon is on September 9th AND I just had my blood work done yesterday. I couldn't agree more that it is surreal. I keep thinking I am going to wake up from this incredible dream.

When I spoke with Andrea this morning, she mentioned that those on the WLS waiting list now have to attend an information session. I assume that's the one all 3 of us are attending on the 9th from 8 -9 a.m. at St. Boniface Hospital. I then have a 10 a.m. appointment with Dr. Vergis that same day.

I'm so excited. I made an appointment for a physical with my G.P. The earliest I could get in was the first week of October. I'll be going for my blood work on Tuesday. Totally surreal.
