Seven months ago today I had my surgery. I do not regrete it at all. This has been the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I have lost 80lbs and I feel great! I do my best to stay away from breads, rice, pasta and my favourite, cakes and cookies. I am not perfect but am doing excellent for me.
I am getting married in a months time. I went last Friday for my first dress fitting. They had to take it in 11 inches!!!!  And I know that it has to come in more because it was still a little loose for my liking. My dress is/was a size 26 and I was told that if they were to order me a dress today it would be a size 16! I couldn't believe it. Most of the people coming to my wedding are from out of town and haven't seen me since last summer. I can't wait to walk down that isle and for them to see me. I haven't been this weight since 1996 after 6months of Ionamin. The last time I was natually this weight I was in Gr. 9, 22 year ago.
Bottom line, I am happier with life and hope that everyone needing this surgery gets it and for those who have congrats!

I also stay away from those same foods and yes I have had chocolate.

WTG!  I am very excited for you.  You are going to be a very beautiful bride indeed.  I can't believe they are able to do that much of an alteration with your dress.  That is awesome, size 16!  Please enjoy every moment of your big day!  You and Homer deserve it!

Boy are you doing well with what you eat. i can't beleive the size difference in the dress! Enjoy every minute walking down the aisle and seeing everyones jaw drop!
