Hi Just got back home and was catching up , I had the lap band done only to end up with a horrible infection and ended up having it removed as it was a foreign object  . Not to say I was out alot of money as the Maples was not good to deal with , The Drs. were great of course But NOT the business people there , quite a change in them when I tried to get some of the money back. Please look into the Man. covered program as I also had the RNY done in May with MUCH better results  Best of luck to you

Thanks for your response and information.  I've checked into what MB  medical will cover and I don't qualify :(   Very sorry to hear that you had an infection and then a removal.  Did you ever recover any of your $$$.  I agree the business office isn't that great - but I'm doing this for my overall health & well being and am very comfortable with the procedure, and the use of this as a tool.  More importantly I am comfortable with the doctors.  Thanks again for your honest /open response! :-)
