I have not been on here for quite awhile again.  I am trying one of the popular programs yet again and I am down about 25lbs in six months, the problem is I can't seem to get any lower than that, this is where I always stop.

Has anyone heard if the surgeries in Winnipeg are going to be continuing and if they are opening them up to a larger group yet?

Dr. Sauceda future patient  - body will be by Sauceda!

Surgery 4 Jun 12 Dr Ponce de Leon in Mexico I was down 57 lbs prior to surgery.

My understanding is they hope to open up the program but don't know when.

For anyone else that is searching outside of manitoba because they don't meet criteria, Medicine Hat has an age restriction of 50 for women. I am very upset as Ijust turned 49 and the nurse told me I would in all certainty be turned down as I would be over 50 by the time I could have the surgery. I just cried. So frustrated, just want to get help and the door keeps slamming in my face.

As usual I got the if you lose 30lbs you would be eligible for Winnipeg. Seriously! I never thought of that... really if it was that easy to lose 30 lbs wouldn't I have done it and more and be slim? If it was easey there would be no need for these programs.

Now I am looking for another clinic, will still try to keep on losing but not feeling very hopeful today.
