Hi there all,  I was just wondering if anyone else eperienced hairloss at 4 months out.  I have lost about 50 to 60 percent of my hair.  I am still able to make it look like I have enough to cover my head, but when I stand in the sun it looks like I am pretty bald.  I thought I was etting enough protein.

Yes, I think it is par for the course.  My hair started to fall out month 4 and now I am approaching month 6, it has slowed down considerably.  I think every one experiences this.  Not sure if it is from protein but another deficiency.

My hair has been falling out since 2 months out. It hasn't stopped yet at 6-1/2 months. When I look in the mirror I tell myself I'd rather be skinny, healthy and bald than fat and diseased. But it does get to me at times.

I lost about the same amount of hair as you!!   The good news is that by about 9 months out it starts to become normal again.  My hair is growing back now and looks like baby fine wispy hair in amongst the old hair.

Take pictures of your hair loss at every month,  I cannot express the importance of picture taking!!  I am the QUEEN of pictures!!

Just take a peek into my albums, next photo I take will show you all what breasticles are!! ( They once were 42G's that are now 36D Longs!!)  Someone on the main forum said that her boobs looked like her husbands cold testicles only longer!!

Protein......well you need it, but it doesn't help the hair loss.  Dr said it was due to rapid weightloss.  Once your weightloss slows down so will the hair loss(at my stage I am loosing about 6-10 lbs a month.)

Hi there! I'm 5 months out and I'm losing hair too. I had a visit with Laura last week and she said that I wouldn't go bald. Losing hair is one of the side effects from the surgery and that it will slow down. Gosh I hope so! Good luck! ~Cheryl
