I'm reading up on all the different types of WLS and wondered which one was performed by the wpg. hospital?  Does it vary by individual or is there one standard proceedure used at this time?

From what I understand, the Vertical Sleeve and the Bypass are performed in WPG hospitals and covered by insurance.  The Lap Band procedure is done out of Maples Clinic and the cost is out of your pocket.

 I had chosen to have the sleeve done but due to ongoing digestive issues I am not a candidate so I will be having the gastric bypass... :)
