Hi Everyone,

I'm pretty new to the site and am having my consultant in a couple weeks.  It can't come quick enough.  Am getting pretty excited of the possibility of starting a new life in a new body.  It's also pretty scarry.  The site has been wonderful and has given me so much information.  It's wonderful to have a tool like this and hope that the clinic knows about this to let other patients know.  

Hope to meet you all soon as it would be nice to connect with people who have been or are going through the same thing.

Just wondering if anyone has ever blogged there expereience of having surgery in MB.

I live in Winnipeg and had surgery in Alberta as they did not offer it here in Manitoba until recently.  This forum is very active and supportive.  I do check other provinces as well and see what issues are similiar to mine.  You can read my blog of my experience.  I have no regrets!

Thanks so much for all the information you have posted.  It was very imformative and you look great.  Am hoping to have such a great success. 

I plan on starting a blog after I go for my consultation and know if/when I will get surgery.  Figure it's a good way to share my experience with others like everyone on this forum has shared with me. 

You all are a great group of ladies and it's nice to have people who understand on the site.

 None of it can ever come quick enough. The clinic does know about this site and recommend coming here for support. :)
