Sudden Weight Gain
Hi Everybody;
Ok, I am not a happy camper. On Saturday, I was down to my lowest weight ever. Then, on Monday, my weight jumped up 3.5 lbs! I figured it was just a weird fluctuation, so I weighed myself again today and I am up another pound! Ahhh!
My eating is not perfect but there is no way I have eaten enough in three days to gain 4.5 pounds of fat. Has anyone else had this happen? I am used to fluctuations of a pound or two, but never this much. It is not my time of the month and there is no way that I am pregnant. LOL!
I guess I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Maybe increase your water daily. I drink tons of water and my coffee takes care of any fluid retention too. Pee lots when I drink my coffee. When you mention that kind of gain Fluid is what comes to mind. Don't be hard on yourself, things will be fine and that weight will be gone before you know it. Good luck! :)
It's very normal for weight to fluctuate 5 or more pounds from one day to the next. You could be holding more water and you could be storing more waste in your digestive tract.
When I was working to lose the 13lbs Dr. Vergis wanted in 6 weeks I was very careful about what I was eating. I was getting close to my goal but went to my brother's 40th and ate really, really well. The next day I was up 8lbs and worried that I had blown it. By the end of the week in time for my appointment I had lost that 8lbs along with a couple more for a total of 12 1/2lbs lost in 6 weeks.
